It may seem like a topic more relevant to self-improvement than champagne-drinking, but trust me, all the grand principles apply equally well to the most frivolous and inconsequential subjects. Although champagne is an important part of life, I would never call it frivolous.
While most of my friends appreciate me for being confident and outgoing, rarely a few could read my moments of unease. I am an introvert by nature, preferring to do things alone. But being alone does not guarantee a sense of comfort and ease. It is not a matter of how sociable one is. Being at ease with oneself is to achieve an inner state of peace regardless of the surrounding, and fundamentally, TheBubblyGal boils it down to the following:
1. Fearless
Unease comes from fear. It could be fear manifested as doubts and worries, or a critical voice that keeps undermining one’s confidence. But who really cares, apart from the only one who imagines and hears this voice? These inner thoughts don’t matter to anyone else, and they should not matter to you too if they are not constructive or contribute to you feeling any better.
2. Loving
Love is the antithesis of fear. To fight off that nasty pestering monster called fear, it takes more than avoiding or suppressing it. Confront it head-on with the most effective weapon called Love. Stand in the positive light, and let it do its magic naturally to chase away the darkness. Be grateful for the moments, for life, for who you are, what you already have, and the people in your life. Treasure them, the good, and the not-so-good too which nevertheless played a crucial part in your growth as a person.
3. Champagne
It is normal to feel a little awkward around people, especially when making new friends. A glass of good champagne always gets the conversation flowing and raises the temperature of any social atmosphere almost instantly to warm bubbly fuzzies.

At a recent ad hoc gathering at the recently re-opened swanky Mo Bar, we eased into the night with a bottle of R de Ruinart. It is an elegant and easy choice, balanced and pleasant to the palate, with both freshness and sense of complexity. Ruinart is a well-known branded champagne-house with high standards of taste. It is also passionate about the art of things, pairing its collections with artists and chefs. Ruinart represents the multi-sensory experience in the art of champagne. Our night out at the Mo Bar was also perfectly complemented with live music, a lush setting and creative cocktails.
Being at ease with oneself, and one will naturally be at ease with everything else.
