Dear ReaderS
Thank you for finding me, and being curious about my bubbly blog.
I love to write and create, inspired by life.
This blog is my dedication to the practice of writing, nothing too serious, only lighthearted fun.
I hope you like what you read and come back often, to share the sparkles of joy, and common human experiences.
My best wishes and love to you all, my dear readers.

yours sincerely,

About
TheBubblyGal
TheBubblyGal is a hobby-writer (who writes about mostly her hobbies) based in Singapore. She loves sipping champagne on all occasions. Her life philosophy is to optimize time for the greatest subjective good and so aspires to achieve a delicate balance between carpe diem and the longer term. She is fundamentally a maximizer topped off with a satisficer's approach to derive the most joy out of what life has to offer.
An Intro
I might have been drinking too much bubblies for my own good. It is a habit picked up since my lawyering days. I picked this particular poison because it was the easiest to get me high. One glass, or less sometimes, is all it takes to make the whole world a better place (and my cheeks flushing). It doesn’t make me a cheap date though, as I am quite picky with the bubbly I drink.
I do not advocate drinking excessively. I try to keep a watch on my calories. Champagne is the healthiest choice it seems, with relatively low sugar content (minus the standard alcohol). I figured if I just drink one glass a day, I would be fine. Though the fact may be that I rarely stop at one.
Some may think of me as the “Champagne girl” type that comes with a snobbish undertone. I don’t deny my preference for fine bubbles and generally finer things in life. For the record, I do enjoy well-made cava and prosecco too. I don’t profess to be a connoisseur of all things refined, neither is my life made of sweet pink roses. I do love pretty flowers by the way, and occasionally have them at home. I smell the roses and drink rose (especially rose champagne of course) too. But the point is, it is all a matter of personal preference, no judgment intended.

It happens that I also love to share my experiences, drinking or otherwise. Since babbling nonsense after a few bubblies is not coherent with my introvert nature, blogging seems to be my better channel.

Apart from sipping a cold champagne to cool off the afternoon heat (especially in the tropical weather of Singapore), there are a few other things I like much in life, though it is impossible for me to weigh my affection across all my passions. Let’s just say if my life is without music and the arts, it would probably be as dull as a celebration without any champagne. Life is a celebration of beauty, hope and joy. In this regard, champagne, music and the arts are essential ingredients to a good life.
